Office & Payroll — the example

Two companies. Two builds.

The wall screen and the printed card get built to the company that hangs them — their mark, their colors, their crew. What runs underneath is the same for both: the same pay week, the same rounding, the same audit trail.

Concrete Coring Company

Phoenix, AZ

A coring and cutting shop. Their mascot has been on the paperwork for decades, so he sits in the middle of the clock face, and the wall gets the red band off their trucks.

Red Hawk Concrete Cutting

Veteran owned

Same trade, different shop. Their mark is a canvas patch, so the whole screen becomes one — rope border and all — and the crew reads the board in 24-hour time. Not a color swap: a different clock.

Different clocks. Same payroll underneath.

The skin is yours. The rules are not negotiable, and they are the same in every shop we set up:

  • Your work week, not ours. Both shops above run Wednesday through Tuesday because that is when their payroll closes. The rows, the total and the export all start on the same day. If your week starts Sunday, it starts Sunday.
  • Rounded the way you round. These cards round each day to the quarter hour, up or down — 4h43m prints 4.75, 4h37m prints 4.50. Never always-up, never always-down. Set it how your shop has always done it.
  • Over forty is over forty. Federal weekly overtime, measured on the same total that prints.
  • The last punch signs the card. Tuesday’s clock-out puts the employee’s name and the date on the line. Payroll still signs Approved.
  • A punch is never quietly erased. Fix a wrong time and the old one stays on the record with who changed it. Delete a punch that never happened and it comes off the card — but the record of removing it does not.
