This is the deal between Saw Time and a company that subscribes. It is short on purpose. Where it is silent, we will act the way a fair contractor would expect.
Saw Time is software for concrete cutting companies: time cards, job tickets, quotes, fuel logs and truck tracking, on operators’ phones and in an office hub. “You” and “your company” mean the business that subscribes. “We” means Saw Time, the company that provides the service.
Every record, time card, ticket, quote, price, customer name, address, photo, signature, voice note and GPS point that your company or its crew puts into Saw Time is your property. You keep every right to it.
You give us one thing: a license to store, copy, back up and process that information for the single purpose of running Saw Time for your company, and for no other purpose. The license ends when your data is deleted under section 8.
We will not sell your data, share it with other subscribers, use it to build products that compete with you, or use it to benchmark, advertise, or train anything. We will not look at it except to run the service, to help you when you ask, or to comply with a lawful order, in which case we tell you unless the law forbids it.
We work to keep Saw Time running every hour of every day, and the app is built to keep taking punches when it cannot reach us. But we do not guarantee it will never be down, and we are not an accounting, payroll or legal service. You are responsible for your own payroll, invoices, tax filings and record-keeping obligations. The time cards and tickets in Saw Time are your records; check them, approve them, and keep exports of anything you would be sorry to lose. Wednesday morning is still Wednesday morning.
Subscriptions are billed monthly per company at the price agreed when you sign up. We give at least 30 days’ written notice before any price change. If you stop paying, we will remind you, then pause access; your data is kept for 60 days after a pause so you can pay up or download it, and then section 8 applies.
You can cancel at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee. Download everything first. Then send us a written request and we delete your company’s database within 30 days and confirm in writing.
The one exception, and it is the only thing you can ever owe us for leaving. Building your version of Saw Time is a one-off design fee. If you took a twelve-month term and we did not charge it up front, that fee is earned off over your first twelve months — one twelfth for every month you stay. Stay the year and you owe nothing. Leave at month six and half of it is due; leave at month eleven and a twelfth is. If you never took a twelve-month term, you paid the design fee at the start and none of this applies to you. There is no penalty on top, no notice period to buy out, and no charge for the months you did not use.
We can end the service to a company only for non-payment, for a serious breach of section 5, or if we shut down under section 9. In every case you get the export first.
When your data is deleted it is removed from the live database, and it ages out of backups within 30 days after that. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices we sent you.
If we ever close the business, every subscriber gets at least 90 days’ written notice. The download-everything button keeps working through that whole period. At the end we delete each company’s database and confirm it. We will not sell your data as part of closing, and if the service is ever transferred to a new owner, that owner takes it on these same terms and you can leave with your data before the transfer if you would rather.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to your company for anything arising out of the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything the law does not allow to be limited.
Notices to us go to hello@sawtimehq.com, through the form on the home page, or to the address on your invoice. Notices to you go to the email on your subscription. Keep it current.

No sales robot. Tell us how many trucks you run and what hurts most, and we’ll take it from there.
