Saw TimeHEADQUARTERSA product of Trade Time HQ LLC Your paperwork
What it costs

One price. Worked out in front of you.

Eight departments, your own build, and the paperwork stops being somebody’s evening. No tiers. No per-seat math. No call to find out the number — it is a base, a rate per truck, and GPS only if you want it, and every truck you add is the same $25 whether it is your fourth or your fortieth.

Nothing here is sent anywhere. It runs in your browser, and there is no form in front of the answer.

Trucks, not people. A truck with two men on it is one truck.

Plus a one-time design fee of $1,850 — your build, your forms, your people loaded and working. On a twelve-month term you pay none of it up front: it is earned off a twelfth a month and gone by the end of your first year. GPS trackers are hardware and quoted separately.

In the base

Eight departments. Not eight add-ons.

Every one of these is running today, and every one has a working example on this site. You do not unlock them one at a time.

The Saw Time office hub: one tile for each department - live board, dispatch, customers, cards and export, office time, job tickets, scanning, fuel, safety, trucks, sales, operators, audit trail and settings This is what the office signs in to. One tile per department, one sign-in, and the same job number running through all of it.
Dispatch & BillingThe board your office already knows, and the priced ticket after
Field OpsTime cards, job tickets, bit and blade logs
Office & PayrollWall clock, the printed card, the payroll export
SafetyPre-task plans, drafted from the foreman’s own walk
SalesQuotes built on the job walk, photos and field math
Specialty TradesScan tickets and the written report that gets paid for
FuelFills logged to the truck, checked against the card
Audit trailEvery edit: who, when, what it was before

What every build includes

  • Your pay week, your travel rule, your overtime — settings, not code
  • Your printed time card, column for column like the one you use now
  • Your job ticket and your logo on everything that prints
  • Works with no signal. A tap in a basement syncs when the truck comes up
  • Your own database, not a shared one with a company column
  • Backed up nightly, off-site and encrypted, with the restore actually tested
  • Export every record any day, in files Excel opens
  • Unlimited people. We count trucks, not seats

Fleet GPS optional

$25 per truck, per month

A tracker tells you where the truck is. This one checks the paperwork with it — and that is the part nobody else in this trade sells you.

  • The travel on the card, against the trail. The card says forty minutes in, the trail says twenty-two. That raises a flag before payroll runs — and it never changes anybody’s pay by itself
  • The fuel log, against the miles. A fill on a day the truck never worked. A truck that burned forty gallons going ninety miles. The trail is what makes the fuel bill checkable at all
  • The safety plan, against the clock. Truck on site 5:56, plan signed 5:58, punched in at 6:00 — so you can show the plan happened on the job, not in the truck on the way home
  • The ticket, against the day. On site 5:56 AM to 2:03 PM, two trucks, two men, when the customer remembers it differently
  • And the part every tracker already does: a live map, per-day trip replay, satellite or a clean street view
  • Trackers are a one-time hardware cost, quoted with your build
  • Office only. Operators never see another man’s truck, and GPS is never on a printed card or in a payroll export

And here is what stops existing

The Tuesday night catch-upCards are written as the day happens, not remembered at the end of the week
The shoebox of fuel receiptsEvery fill goes against the truck at the pump, with two photos
The safety binderPlans drafted from the foreman’s own walk, signed on site, filed with the ticket
The quote spreadsheetBuilt on the walk, photos and field math on it, sent before you leave
A separate tracker loginThe map is in the same place as the card it is checking
“Did we ever bill that one?”Signed work nobody priced raises a red panel, oldest first, dollars totaled
Getting started

The design fee, and what it buys

It is a build, not a signup — a week of reading your paperwork and making your version of this. $1,850 if you are month to month. On a twelve-month term you pay none of it up front — it is earned off a twelfth a month, so staying the year clears it. Here is what happens in it.

Week 1We read your paperworkYour time card, your job ticket, your quote sheet, your pay week and your travel rule. Send us the forms you use now.
Week 2Your build goes upYour own database and your own app, with your forms, your logo and your rules in it.
Week 3Your people and your customers loadOperators, trucks, PINs, office staff, and your customer list brought over from whatever holds it now.
Week 4It runs beside your paperTwo weeks side by side before anything is retired. Compare the cards on a Wednesday morning. Only then does the paper go.
Do I have to commit to twelve months?
No. Month to month is fine — you just pay the $1,850 design fee at the start, because we carry the build week. On a twelve-month term you pay none of it up front and earn it off a twelfth a month; stay the year and it is gone. Leave early and only the part you have not earned off is due — at month six, half. That is the only thing you can ever owe us for leaving, and it is written into the terms. Either way you take every record with you.
What if we add trucks mid-year?
$25 a month each, from the month they start. Take one off the road and it comes off the same way.
Who does the work of moving our data?
We do, in week 3. Customers, jobs and your people come over. Historical time cards stay where they are — they are payroll records and we would rather not be the only copy.
Does the price change when you build us something new?
No. Asking for a change to your own build is the point of it, and it does not move your rate.
What determines the quote?
Trucks, whether you want GPS, and how much of your paperwork we are rebuilding. Nothing else. There is no charge per user, per ticket, per job or per text message.
Two things we are not going to pretend about.
  • There is no direct connector into your accounting package yet. Priced tickets go to whoever does your billing with the ticket attached. Which package it should talk to is one of the first questions we ask, and it is the next thing being built.
  • We are small on purpose. Every company gets its own build, so we take on a few at a time. If we are full we will say so rather than sell you a queue.

See it with your own paperwork.

Not a demo of somebody else’s company — yours. Tell us who you are and we will write back asking for the time card and the job ticket you use now, then show you that same paperwork running in Saw Time before you decide anything.

See it with your paperwork Watch one job, end to end
The job tickets and time cards are clean and easy to read, which saves me so much time. I’m no longer waiting on operators to turn in their paperwork when payroll is due. I finish payroll much earlier and can move on to my other tasks.

Nothing gets retired until it has run beside your paper for two weeks. You compare the cards on a Wednesday morning, the way you always have. Only then does the paper go.
